Rynus Worker

What is Rynus Worker?

Rynus Worker is an application that enables Workers to quickly, easily, and securely connect their idle GPU(s) to the Rynus Worker System.

Who uses the Rynus Worker app?

Workers use this app to:

  • Earn Rynus tokens by receiving and performing rendering and AI computing jobs.
  • Earn coins by mining while not receiving a computing job.

Install on Windows

Follow the below instructions to install Rynus Worker app.

While installing the app, it will ask you to install the Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime if you haven’t installed it on your devices.

This Windows Desktop Runtime is the prerequisite for the Rynus Worker app. Make sure you don’t skip it.

Continue the instructions and choose Finish to complete the installation.

Use Rynus Worker

Step 1: Open and sign in to the app with your Rynus account.

Rynus Worker app’s main screen consists of three main sections:

  • The app information: displays Worker Id and Worker status.
  • Computing/Mining: Each tab contains related information corresponding to two important tasks of a Rynus Worker – Performing the Rynus’s computing jobs (priority) and Mining.
  • GPU monitor: displays the information of GPU computing resources being used –  Temperature and VRAM

Step 2: Config Worker

Go to Rynus Worker Management page and download the Worker config file corresponding to the Worker ID you created.

Import the Worker config file to connect your Worker.

After connecting successfully, the app will show your Worker ID and the Worker status as Connected like this:

Receive and perform computing jobs

When you have successfully connected the Rynus Worker app on your device, and keep the app open, your device will be shown as an Online Worker on the Rynus. Online workers will be chosen to distribute the computing jobs from Rynus system.

Once the computing job is distributed to your Worker, it will:

  • First, download the job data
  • Then, perform the job (depending on the computing job, it will show either as Training mode (AI job) or Rendering (3D render job))

Note: To ensure that all the computing resources are used efficiently for the computing jobs, the mining task will be stopped automatically while the computing job is being performed.
Once the job is completed, it will be sent to the Requester. The Worker will be rewarded with Rynus tokens.

Config and start mining

When your GPU is idle and hasn’t got hired by Rynus, you can also open Rynus Worker app to run mining and earn coins.

Firstly, enable the Mining mode.

Secondly, config mining by choosing a mining pool and mining coin and entering your wallet address (if you haven’t added it when creating your Worker at Rynus)

Note: You can only run mining when not receiving a computing job. Mining will be stopped automatically when a computing job is distributed to you.
