For over 5 years, we have stood at the forefront of GPU computing, as a preeminent render farm with comprehensive experience and expertise in GPU hardware, 3D rendering, and AI training. 

Rynus is not started from scratch

Rynus is the next natural step in our evolution towards a decentralized GPU platform. We are not starting it from scratch but from a powerful centralized GPU render farm – iRender. Our centralized GPU model has served over 50,000 users worldwide, handling millions of 3D rendering jobs and AI training projects, laying solid groundwork for the decentralized GPU platform. We have thoroughly mastered the complexities of the centralized GPU computing model through years of real-world experience on a large global scale.

At iRender, we have enhanced four key pillars: Data Transfer, Security, Job Management, and Worker Management.

  • Data Transfer: We understand that the lifeblood of GPU cloud computing is the efficient movement of massive data. We have solved this completely with our file transfer app that integrates the most advanced proprietary protocols, helping transfer big data faster and more efficiently. Thousands of terabytes of data have moved seamlessly through our system.
  • Security: Security is the bedrock of trust, and trust is core to our business. From day one, we designed our system and infrastructure with stringent protection measures. Customer data is secured behind multiple layers of protection incorporating the most advanced technologies including Data Center Tier III, Two-Factor Authentication, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
  • Job Management: Job Management is the conductor of a vast computing system. It efficiently handles tasks for the local worker control such as booting, shutting down, and resetting, etc., allowing the local worker system to operate smoothly and productively. This helps ensure that 3D rendering and AI training jobs are completed as quickly as possible for our users worldwide.
  • Worker Management: We have developed and efficiently operated the Worker Manager and Worker Service to oversee the worker system of 1000+ GPUs – RTX 3090/4090 within the local area network (LAN). The Worker Manager allows us to manage machine statuses such as ON/OFF and AVAILABLE/NOT AVAILABLE and enables us to select and coordinate workers when users perform actions with images. Concurrently, the Worker Service carries out coordinated actions under the direction of the Worker Manager, including booting up, shutting down, cloning, snapshotting, and resetting machines. These functions collectively contribute to enhancing the operational efficiency of the entire system.

What steps do we need to take to go decentralized?

At Rynus, the path to decentralization is clear. We understand that a successful DePIN project necessitates a comprehensive approach to solving five key pillars: Data Transfer, Security, Job Management, Global Worker Management, and a Blockchain-based System with transparent and efficient Token utility.

Our current centralized GPU platform has effectively addressed Data Transfer, Security, and centralized Job and Worker Management – backbone elements that also apply to decentralized global environments. iRender’s established centralized GPU model has adeptly tackled half of the aforementioned pillars through years of pioneering cloud GPU computing. The journey to decentralized forward is innovation, not invention. We just need to upgrade to computing job management, transition to internet-based worker management instead of LAN, and integrate the entire system into the blockchain.

Having years of experience supporting rendering and training many projects, we have enough data to develop AI cores that can efficiently handle job and worker distribution for Rynus. Specifically, we understand what rendering and training model projects are, their components, best settings, hardware requirements, compatibility, and optimized hardware. This enables us to easily choose, manage, and effectively allocate jobs and workers across the platform as follows:

  • 3D Rendering: The AI core facilitates the selection of suitable hardware for each job and render engine, offering optimal settings recommendations. 
  • AI Training: AI core assists in identifying workers with appropriate hardware for each job and AI frameworks, providing optimal setting suggestions.

We have extensive experience working with both hardware and software. The Rynus team consists of hardware experts with extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of hardware from various industry leaders. We have successfully developed technologies that many others cannot. Apart from NVIDIA, we are the only render farm capable of building a supermachine with 8x GPUs (RTX 3090s and RTX 4090s) and effectively integrating it into the system for the most intricate 3D rendering and AI training jobs. Additionally, we have experience working with various render engines and AI frameworks and possess a deep understanding of these software. We have operated a stable iRender Farm supported by strong internal Farm Managers and efficient external apps for file transfer and service utilization. With a strong foundation in hardware and software, we are prepared to adapt to the changes and rapid technological innovations that are shaping a new world.
